I studied painting and drawing at York University, Toronto, and took courses in graphic and industrial design at Carleton University, Ottawa. On a month-long trip to Jaipur in 2007, I had the wonderful opportunity to apprentice at the studio of Babu Lal Malhotra, one of India's most famous painters of Indian miniatures. Every Saturday, I took a rickshaw to his family home in the Old City of Jaipur and worked alongside him and other members of his family in his rooftop studio overlooking the Pink City. Check out my Indian miniature painting from this time (done over 8 sessions).
In addition to my art and design education, I also hold a Bachelor of Humanities from Carleton University and a Master of Arts from McGill University, Montreal.
